AquaScape (“we”, “us”) operates from 795 Govan Rd, Glasgow G51 3JW. This policy explains how we handle personal information you provide when using aquascapebiz.com or buying from our warehouse.
What We Collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery address and payment details. Payments are processed through Stripe — we never store card numbers on our servers. We also collect basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through server logs and Google Analytics cookies.
How We Use It
Your data is used to fulfil and dispatch orders, process refunds or replacements under our DOA guarantee, send order confirmation and shipping notification emails, and respond to enquiries sent through the contact form or by email. We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in through the newsletter checkbox at checkout. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and we honour removal requests within 48 hours.
Who We Share It With
We share your name and address with Royal Mail or DPD for delivery. Payment data goes directly to Stripe. Google Analytics data is anonymised. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Retention and Your Rights
Order records are kept for 6 years per HMRC requirements. Server logs are purged after 90 days. Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of your data. Email contact@aquascapebiz.com with “Data Request” in the subject and we will respond within 30 days.
Security and Contact
The site runs on HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption. Customer data access is restricted to two members of staff and protected by two-factor authentication.
